if you think he's not committed, thats your opinion. but i still think that Rob is still somewhere in this website, waiting to emerge once this is a popular website again.

Im still around...sort of anyway.
I haven't had the desire to post news in a long time. I still play C&C3 more than probably any other game, but other than checking the DEN for the latest news once every couple days, I haven't really done anything in the community in a long time. Most of the people on other sites that I enjoyed working and chatting with are no longer around, so I have lost contact with pretty much the entire community. I cant even think of the last time I talked to anybody from this site like Rob, Ash or anybody for that matter.
The community is nothing like it used to be and I don't see it going back to the glory days anytime soon. Like many of the other past community greats, I have moved on to other things like college and working full time. In what spare time I can manage to find, its either spent playing C&C3 or working on one of my websites. If anybody happens to see me playing C&C3, hit me up for a game(name: pcnerd37).

i just wonder if this website is going to end up like some other websites, popular one day, and unpopular the next. if Rob came on the website more often, I for one believe that this website wouldn't be like it is now and many people rely on Rob and the crew for valuable tactica and info.

Well tbh the "glory" days of the CnC community were when RA2 were at its height of "fame". I believe after closing down the offical ladders and so on, many players just gave up CnC. Combined with the fact Generals/Zero Hour were a complete joke has not done the series much good. CnC3 is a great game however much of the fanbase has already been lost. Myself, I used to be a huge CnC fan/player (I even did a few map tactics for RA2, you can see them on this site, back from when I was a staff member at R2W).
But I don't know. Maybe this should be the last game, it is time to put the series to rest.

I have to add that in recent years, MMO's are the new "thing" for a lot of people. Look at the sucess of World of Warcraft, 9 coming on to 10 MILLION subscribers. Absolutly amazing. We must take into account that gamers are switching from their prefered genres to play an MMO, wether it is WoW, EVE, Guild Wars or whatever. I never played much except for RTS games before I became addicted to WoW (still am to this day) and I know a lot of people who have gone the same way.

Perhaps it's time someone started doing tactics and stuff like that...

enter your thoughts and share them with everyone else on how we can bring people back to this website

There aren't any plans for a massive resurrection I'm afraid - I don't think there are enough people who want to or have the time to do it.
The site will remain online, it is an excellent resource and always will be. I'm glad to see people still using the forum and keeping some sort of activity going.
There always seems to be a healthy number of guests browsing the site, so it certainly indicates people still come here to find something, if not for the forum.

you are right of course, you always have an explanation for everything.
no resurrection plans, oh well, the guest numbers pretty much still provide heaps of attention to the site, at least. just imagine the guests as members, like us old boys.

I guess if I can get some free time between sports and school work I can post some tactics material and stuff like that.
