Pretty cool group - I'm slightly concerned about Sweden though. 37 years is a long time to go without beating somebody, especially given the amount we seem to play them.

Trinidad for the win! 1000/1 - outsider's bet?

I agree that this is a good group for England to be in, with the only forseeable(sp) problem being Sweden but even then i dont see us losing, probably a draw. I think we will win the group with ease, Sweden coming second, not sure about the other two teams.

Lovely little quote from Paraguay's coach in the Daily Mirror today.

Apparently, he rates Paul Scholes (retired) and Roy Keane (Irish) as England's best two players.

Hahahaha.

Group E is the toughest, I think. Italy, Ghana, USA and Czech Republic. We could also play Germany in the Second Round.

I think another possibility is Brazil semi-final than Germany in the final at Munich.

Winning the world cup final against Germany on their own soil would be one of the biggest moments ever.

There's no way to express my chortlage in writing.

Just work your way out of the group stage first. Otherwise you might find your keeper getting chipped in the quarters.
